Ceiling-Mount Curtain Track
Curtains, on rails.
WENTEX Eurotrack — the solid curtain-track system for permanent and temporary installs. Connect rails into one continuous run, then move drape by hand or with the optional rope system. Built for studios, venues, trade shows, and live events.
What is Eurotrack?
Eurotrack is WENTEX's ceiling-mount curtain track system — the drapery hardware that lets you hang, glide, and draw curtains along a fixed rail instead of a free-standing pipe. Aluminum rails mount to a ceiling or wall, carriers roll inside the track, and your drape moves smoothly by hand or with an optional rope-and-pulley system. It's the go-to solution when you want a clean, permanent (or repeatable temporary) curtain run in a studio, venue, house of worship, or trade-show space.
Unlike pipe & drape — which stands on weighted bases and is built to strike and travel — Eurotrack is a mounted curtain-track solution: lower profile, always ready, and ideal where the drape line stays put and gets opened and closed on demand.
How the Eurotrack system works
Every Eurotrack run is built from three core parts plus the hardware to shape and operate it:
- Rails — straight aluminum track in 200 cm (78.7") sections. Join sections end-to-end with connection strips for a continuous run of any length, and add overlap arms where two drape panels meet so there's no light gap.
- Carriers (runners) — the wheeled glides that carry your drape inside the rail. Use lightweight 2-wheel runners for standard drape, or heavy-duty 4+4-wheel runners rated to a 55 lb working load (WLL) for heavy velour and blackout curtains.
- Mounting — fix the rail overhead with ceiling mounts (standard or quick-coupling) or stand it off a wall with brackets in 100 mm, 200 mm, or 300 mm depths to clear obstructions.
Shape and finish the run with 90° corners (R500 mm or R1000 mm radius) for L-shaped and wrap-around layouts, and cap the ends with end stops. To draw the curtain from the side rather than by hand, add the rope-and-pulley system (return wheels, double pulleys, a floor pulley, and a ballast bag to keep tension).
What you can build with Eurotrack
- Studio cyclorama, green-screen, and masking curtains that glide aside on cue
- Room dividers and retractable walls for hotels, conference centers, and multipurpose rooms
- Stage traveler curtains and side-stage masking
- House-of-worship backdrops that open for baptistries or screens
- Trade-show and showroom drape walls with a clean, permanent finish
- Hospital, office, and partition curtains where a tidy ceiling track beats free-standing pipe

Frequently asked questions
Is Eurotrack ceiling-mounted or wall-mounted?
Both. Use ceiling mounts (standard or quick-coupling) to hang the rail overhead, or wall brackets in 100 mm, 200 mm, or 300 mm depths to stand it off a wall and clear obstructions. Most installs mix both depending on the structure.
How do you open and close the curtain — by hand or by rope?
Either way. By default the carriers glide by hand. To draw the drape from the side, add the Eurotrack rope-and-pulley system (return and double pulleys, a floor pulley, and a ballast bag for tension).
How much drape weight can Eurotrack hold?
It depends on the carriers and spacing you choose. Standard 2-wheel runners suit lighter drape; heavy-duty 4+4-wheel runners are rated to a 55 lb working load (WLL) each for heavy velour and blackout curtains. For heavier runs, use HD runners and space them more closely — tell us your drape weight and we'll spec it.
How long can a Eurotrack run be?
Any length. Rails come in 200 cm (78.7") sections that join end-to-end with connection strips for a continuous run. Add overlap arms where two panels meet so there's no light gap in the middle.
Can Eurotrack make corners or curved runs?
Yes. 90° rail corners are available in R500 mm and R1000 mm radii for L-shaped and wrap-around layouts, so the curtain travels smoothly around the bend.
Is Eurotrack for permanent or temporary installs?
Both. It's solid enough for a permanent studio or venue install, and modular enough to mount, run, and reconfigure for temporary setups.
What's the difference between Eurotrack and pipe & drape?
Pipe & drape stands on weighted bases and is designed to set up, strike, and travel. Eurotrack mounts to the ceiling or wall as a fixed curtain track — lower profile, always in place, and built to open and close on demand. Many spaces use both: pipe & drape for events, Eurotrack for permanent runs.
Will Eurotrack work with my existing drape?
Eurotrack works with any drape that can attach to its runners, and pairs directly with our WENTEX drape panels. Send us your drape's header style and we'll confirm the right carriers.
